The Coder

Hi! I'm Alex, a front-end developer based in Toronto.
I am a proud graduate of the Web Development Immersive program at HackerYou College of Technology. After years of working in administration, I learned to use my passion for detail and communication to convey my ideas in a creatively new way. I look forward to continue being challenged and learning to solve problems to build accessible and responsive content that provides delightful user experiences.
When I'm not writing code you'll find me climbing indoors (outdoors soon!), playing board games, or nerding out about the latest Sci-Fi movies.

To Doom List
Be prepared for any disaster. Find a bunker and make a list of survival items!
To Doom List is a group agency project created with React using Firebase, Google authentication, and the Mapquest API. Users are able to login with their Google or as a guest and can choose a bunker. Each bunker has it's own lists and memos that can be added, deleted or checked off as complete. Made in collaboration with Ahuoiza Baiye, Glen McCann, and Zoe Connolly.
